‘Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.’

Welcome
back! I hope you and your family are doing well and safe. Before we start with
today’s post, I want to take the opportunity to thank you all for supporting me
and staying by my side. This journey would not be the same without all of you.
We
all know how important education is, no matter how hard it is to be a learning
student we all push ourselves to the finish line. Even though we feel that the
difficult part is over it is not. We are learners from the start to the end
& every aspect of life has something to teach us; we need to keep learning
to succeed. As a young student I feel learning itself is a learning experience.
I keep trying to find new and better ways to improve the speed and efficiency
of my learning. Quizlet has really helped me do this, let me explain…
A few days ago, when I was browsing through app store to find something interesting,
I discovered Quizlet. I read the description and I was a little confused. So, I decided to check out a few videos on how Quizlet works. Then I learnt that this app helps you to create flash cards - the kind you would create with some paper except it is digital and very efficient. So,
I downloaded it and it changed the way I feel about studying on weekends! It
not only helps you to create flash cards but also helps you to learn them by
generating a fun and simple quiz that will help you a lot more than you think
it will. By the time you reach the end of the quiz you would have learnt the
whole chapter cover to cover so say goodbye to those long hours sitting with
the textbook in your hands and still not understanding the need of a periodic
table!
If
you find the idea of a quiz boring, then no problem just try playing the memory
game where you need to match the term with its definition, or play gravity
where you need to type the answer of the question on the asteroid before it
hits your planet.
You can share your flash cards with your friends or keep it private. My favourite feature is the repository of flash cards others have created on every topic. You can choose and download them so you don’t need to make them yourselves. Isn’t that so simple?
You can create folders and organise it the way you want to. And your flashcards are always in your pocket. Next time you are stuck in a boring grown ups gathering, don't waste your time watching something on your phone. Instead catch up on studies and it will be one thing off your to-do list. :)
Now
if you do not want to get the app on your phone or iPad then try the web
version this way you can login using your laptop or PC, isn’t that cool? Thank
you, #Quizlet, for making my learning fun and easy. Well, what are you waiting
for…try Quizlet now! Do not forget to check out the video I have added below.
Try Quizlet and let me know how it went for you or what you liked the most in the comments below
Thanks for reading!
Take care and see you next time!
